¡iAbstract¡j

¡@¡@Knowledge management has become one of the leading topics in academic circles recently. However, as an institution that has always been managing human knowledge, the library can't manage well its own professional knowledge and working experience. In this article, the necessity of knowledge management for the library is verified in a practical situation. The contemplated strategies of management in library include knowledge management as strategic device, core competency as management focus, and clear division of job between actions of innovation learning for librarians and organization design for the library. More details in knowledge management are also discussed as of how to encourage librarians to create, share and apply knowledge to become knowledge-workers, and what framework should be formed in order to help improve knowledge-oriented management, or even reinforce the capacity for innovativeness and adaptation in libraries' organization.
